Are considering going on a backpacking trip? You are going to have to carry everything with you on your back or in your pockets when you go into the wilderness. While this idea doesn’t appeal to everybody, some people consider this the ultimate get away. As you are preparing to go, you will quickly realize that weight is a big issue. In order to be as mobile as possible you have to find a good balance between size, weight and the price of your gear. Typically the smaller and more lightweight, the more expensive.

Water = Life

You can get away with skimping on some things, but one thing you need to make sure you have enough of is water. When you are out in the wild, walking with a pack, you need plenty of water to drink.
